Rehman asked the Prime Minister in the House of Commons to join him in countering false Russian claims about UK sanctions on Russia since the invasion of Ukraine and to confirm that UK sanctions do not target exports of food supplies to developing countries.
Rehman previously served as the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) Minister for North America, Sanctions & Consular Policy (July - September 2022).
