Rehman is to walk the distance of a marathon in stages for Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need, following an injury to his back which meant that he can no longer run the London Marathon in October 2021.
Rehman committed to running the 2020 London Marathon for ACN when he was serving as the Prime Minister's Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion or Belief, however due to Covid-19 the Marathon didn't go ahead.
