Rehman visited the Disablement Services Centre to learn more about the services they provide for the community.
The Centre, based at Medway Maritime Hospital in Gillingham, assists those with a permanent medical condition or severe physical disability. Their services include help, advice and access to prosthetic limbs and wheelchairs.
Rehman also met members of the Disablement Services Unit User Group, including the Chairman Bryan King, to discuss their experiences of the service and to answer questions.
Commented on the visit, Rehman said: “Medway’s Disablement Services Centre offers a first class service and excellent advice. I enjoyed meeting with the members of the user group to learn about their experiences and to answer their questions.”
